Gilmartin’s - Stewarton 

Gilmartin’s is owned by Mossgiel Organic Farm, producers of good old-fashioned milk, where processing is to a minimum and taste is to the maximum. At Gilmartin’s, you can sample the milk within the flavoursome coffees and hot drinks on offer. There is also a milk vending machine on site so you can bottle some up and get a remarkable coffee at home! Whether it’s brunch, lunch or a posh breakfast that you’re after, Gilmartin’s is the place for you. The menu is created from their love of comfort food. The main ingredients are sourced from organic and local producers. Look out for Gran Lynn’s homemade cakes; you have to be quick though as they fly off the shelf! They like to think of it as food to warm your soul…

Struther Farmhouse - Dunlop 

Struther Farmhouse is a cafe and shop nestled in the East Ayrshire village, Dunlop. Open Friday-Sunday 11 am-3 pm, you can relish freshly prepared meals, ready-to-heat-at-home meals, light bites, home baking, larder products and more. Their ‘Pre-order At Home Meals’ are popular amongst locals; dishes have included beef bourguignon, baked salmon with chilli & lime dressing, chickpea curry and so much more.

The Weston Tavern & Restaurant - Kilmaurs

Originally the Kilmaurs manse and Blacksmiths, The Weston is now a well-established restaurant and pub. Expect tasty classic pub dishes as well as the grill menu and chef’s dishes which include ‘Rack of Ayrshire Lamb’, ‘Pan Fried Salmon’ and ‘Duo of Beef’. Weekly restaurant deals are available, where you can enjoy 50% off all grill dishes on Mondays and a free dessert with every meal on Wednesdays, plus more. The Deli at One - Stewarton

If you’re wanting lunch on the go then The Deli at One is the place to go. They offer a selection of freshly made baguettes, wraps, bagels and sandwiches. There’s a sweet treat for everyone from homemade cakes, brownies, cakes, scones and traybakes. In addition, there’s a small artisan shop where you can buy a variety of yummy and local produce. Look out for the weekly specials, how delicious does ‘Stornoway black pudding, caramelised onion and mozzarella hot baguette’ sound ?!

Idle Hands Shop & Bakery - Dunlop  

Idle Hands is a specialty grocery shop and bakery in the village of Dunlop, bringing you unusual and interesting finds from across the UK and Europe; cured meats, cheese and cheeseboard accompaniments, great coffee, cakes and pastries and beautiful real bread. They are open from Thursdays to Sundays when you want to treat yourself most. Knock back an espresso, grab a sourdough baguette and some mortadella or taleggio and pick up a piece of Amalfi pear cake for later...Note, they are only open for takeaway.

The Sugar Cube - Stewarton 

This is the place to go if you have a sweet tooth! Whether it’s one of the 40+ flavours of delicious Woody’s Ice Cream that you are craving or maybe a hot dessert like the Belgian round waffles topped with all the goods or a chocolate dipping box to share.

They have milkshakes, Slushies, a huge old-fashioned jarred sweet selection, coffee, cakes and even a savoury menu! If you are lucky enough to live within 4 miles, they’ll even deliver it for you!
