The Coo Shed, South Corton Farm

Set up in 2017, as an add-on to the already successful and well-established plant nursery, Corton Plants, The Coo Shed is a family-run coffee shop that showcases the best of homemade food and baking. In addition to the coffee shop, there is ‘The Milk Hoose’; a vending machine containing baking, sandwiches and meals. Plus, a milk vending machine, with milk from their own dairy herd, where you can make your own milkshakes.

Burns Birthplace Museum Cafe

Based in Alloway, the museum offers a brilliant day out where you can discover and celebrate the life of Robert Burns. You will find Burns’ Cottage, Poet’s Path, Monument & Gardens, Museum Tour, Play Area and also a Cafe. The cafe sells freshly made hot food, snacks, soup and delicious home baking. It can be found in the main museum building. On a sunny day, you can sit outside and enjoy the gardens!

The Bothy Cafe at River Garden, Auchincruive

The River Garden is a social enterprise and development centre for those in the early stages of recovery from drugs and alcohol. The cafe is a wonderful place for the community and visitors to come together. They serve fresh homemade soups, sandwiches, freshly baked cakes and scones with homegrown River Garden produce. With the added bonus of daily specials and a seasonal menu, there will always be something new to try.

This is a little hidden gem, tucked away in the beautiful Ayrshire countryside. Kirkmichael Arms, Kirkmichael, Maybole 

Nestled in the village of Kirkmichael, this is a traditional Scottish pub offering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food is outstanding and will make you want to visit time and time again. Passionate about local produce, their specials reflect what is in season. An example includes ‘local roe deer with parsnip puree, roast carrot, truffled mash, crispy potato and game jus’.
